This guide demonstrates the steps to adding and updating Stock Products via the ePOS Hybrid Admin Panel.
Updating Stock Products is helpful in Stock Management for creating and managing Delivery Notes, Purchase Orders, Stock Takes and updating Stock Usage.
To ensure the following steps can be completed, please follow the steps in the ePOS Academy guides for Suppliers, Stock Category, Product Type, Stock Location, Measurements and Allergens.
To begin adding your stock products, log in to your Admin Panel and select Stock Management, followed by Manage Products.
The Stock Products screen will open, with all created products listed.

To create a new product, click the green + Add Stock Product button on the top-right corner of the page.
Once clicked, the Add Product pop-up will appear, allowing you to enter the details of the new stock product.
Begin by entering the Product Name and an optional Product Reference.
Next, use the following dropdown boxes to select the Supplier, Stock Category, Product Type and Stock Location from the existing options previously created.
If required, the + button next to the available dropdowns can allow additional Categories, Product Types and Inventory Locations to be added.

After the above details are entered, confirm the Product Measurement. If necessary, additional units of measurement can be added via the + Add More Measuring Units button.

Next, the Tax Setting can be specified, and the Product Barcode can be added if needed - this will allow barcode scanning when completing a Stock Take via the ePOS Hybrid Stock Take App.
For guidance on completing a Stock Take, refer to the ePOS Academy Stock Take guide.

The Minimum and Maximum Stock Level can be entered to aid Purchase Order creation, if required.

Relevant Allergens can be selected using the checkboxes in the Allergen Information section, and additional allergens can be added using the + Add More Allergen Information button if required.

Finally, an optional Product Description can be added.
Once all relevant information has been added, click Submit to add your Stock Product.
After the Stock Product is added, you will return to the Stock Product screen with a confirmation message advising that the new product has been added.

The Search by Product Name, Supplier Name, Category and Product Type text boxes can be used to filter the available options if more than one page of products are listed.
The One QTY Price column can be edited to enable the correct unit cost to be listed.
The Action column includes an Edit button to update the details added, and a Delete button to remove the product if required.
