Pre Order Settings

In this guide, we will cover the options available to update your Pre-Order Settings.

 

Firstly log onto your Admin Panel at https://www.eposhybrid.uk/ or via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App. 

Once logged in, select Web&Mob Management, followed by Pre Order Settings.

The Pre Order Settings screen will open, allowing you to set up and manage your Pre-Order Settings.

 

The first option provides the choice to use Slot Bookings - if enabled, this can be used to specify Collection or Delivery Timeslots for same-day orders.

Select Yes to enable Slot Booking, then select the relevant Collection or Delivery Slots button on the top-right corner of the screen. If you are operating both service types, the timeslots are independent of each other so different timeslots can be set up for each service type.

 

To set up your Timeslots, select the relevant icon to open up the Collection or Delivery Time Slots screen (both have the same layout).

Firstly, select the applicable days for the Timeslots using the relevant checkboxes.

 

To add your Timeslots, select the From Time and To Time for the slot using the dropdown options, the slots can be selected in as little as five-minute increments.

Next, select the number of Orders that can be placed by customers within the slot - this is a mandatory field so cannot be blank - this can help with capacity planning if required.

After completing the required fields, click the green Add button to add your Timeslot. The Action column allows you to Edit and Delete your Timeslots if required using the relevant icons.

 

After adding your Timeslots, the next option allows you to turn the Pre-Order setting on and off, if needed.

You can also confirm if you wish to accept Pre-Orders on the same day. If No is selected, customers will only be able to place Pre-Orders for future dates - enter the appropriate number of days in advance that customers can place order for in the Maximum Pre-Order Days field.

If you wish to accept Payment on Collection or Payment on Delivery for customer Pre-Orders, click the relevant checkboxes - if left unchecked, these options will not be available for customers.
