Operator App Management

Multi Operator Mode

This guide demonstrates the steps to setting up and enabling Multi-Operator Mode on your ePOS Hybrid Operator App to allow more than one user to use the system.

Firstly, Multi-Operator Mode must be enabled in your Admin Panel. Once logged in, select Restaurant Setup on the left-hand side of the screen and then Settings. Scroll to App Default Settings (and click Open to expand the section) and turn Multi-Operator Mode ON.

To allow quick login using Multi-Operator Mode, a “temporary passcode” can be created. To do so, select Staff Management on the left-hand side of the Admin Panel, followed by Manage Staff. Once the screen is open, select the Key icon in the Actions column of the relevant staff member to open the Operator Temporary Password pop-up, where a three-digit code can be entered - click Submit to add this passcode.

Once the relevant Temporary Passcodes have been created, refresh your Operator App by selecting Extras and press the Refresh App button so any changes made can take effect.

On the ePOS Hybrid Operator App, the primary user will be listed. To allow a second operator to log onto the Operator App, click the Logoff button.

Once the Logoff button is pressed, the Login screen will open.

Enter the Temporary Passcode of the second operator and press OK under the keypad to log in with the second operator.

If the second operator needs to log out, press Logoff and enter the Temporary Passcode for the main operator to have only the main operator listed.
Multiple operators can log in using their temporary passcode with the logged-in User listed on the Operator App.
