In this guide, we will display the steps required to add Item Groups to your system.
For a full step-by-step video guide on Interactive Menu Management, please refer to our Complete Video Guide.
Firstly, access your Admin Panel at https://eposhybrid.uk/ or via the ePOS Hybrid Operator App. Once logged in, select Menu Management, followed by Item Group.

The Item Group screen will display your existing Item Groups (with the items contained within each), provide the option to Change Status, Edit or Delete your Item Groups and add new groups.
To add a new Item Group, click the green + Add button.

Once clicked, the Add Group pop-up will open, allowing you to enter the Group Name in the relevant textbox and specify the Items to be included within the group.
To add your Items, enter the name of the item in the Select Item Name textbox, click on the corresponding item name once visible then click the green + Add button to add this item to your Item Group. Repeat this process until all items to be included within the Item Group have been added.
Once all necessary items have been added, click the green Submit button to create your new Item Group. After the Item Group has been added, you will return to the Item Group screen to review all existing groups.
If you wish to Deactivate an Item Group without removing it from the system completely, click the green Active icon in the Status column. This will change the Status to a red Inactive icon, ensuring the Item Group will not be listed. If you wish to Reactivate an Item Group, click the Inactive icon and this will revert back to Active status.
If you wish to Edit your Item Group once added, click the green Edit icon in the Actions column to make the appropriate changes - click Submit once the relevant changes have been made.
If you wish to Delete an Item Group have created, click the red Delete icon in the Actions column to remove this from your system.
Once completed, Item Groups are helpful for use within Promotions - please refer to our ePOS Hybrid Academy guides on Promotion Management for steps in setting up Promotions containing your created Item Groups.
